Project Management This Experience explores project management — our ability to manage the process used to complete a specific project. A project is defined as a temporary effort to create a product|service|event or result that has a clear beginning and end. Project management is not just about getting something done; it is also about accomplishing something efficiently and effectively. To do this|you must use many skill sets. Three Essential Elements support Project Management|all of which are associated with the “Workplace Skills” component of the SkillsUSA Framework. Decision Making: Project management involves making a lot of decisions|such as determining the objectives of a project and what needs to be done and by when. Planning|Organizing and Management: At the heart of project management is being able to plan|organize and manage the tasks that need to get done to accomplish your objective.
